The durable loop pile is composed of 100% polypropylene making for a hardwearing and easy to maintain carpet that is suitable for high-traffic areas around the home and is also bleach cleanable. The Empire range boasts a solid 5mm pile height with industry-leading action backing providing comfort underfoot with thermal and acoustic insulation. Complete with a 3-year wear warranty and 5-year stain warranty, our Empire range provides that much needed peace of mind that this is a carpet that can stand the test of time!

5mm Pile Height
This carpet is 5mm thick, the compact pile of this carpet makes for a solid underfoot feel, giving support as you walk and is less likely to show footprints and other pile displacements.
Durable Loop Pile
Looped/Berber carpet is extremely durable and excellent at maintaining its appearance - perfect for high traffic areas. Not only does it hide footprints well, but it also offers texture to a plain carpet. The yarn used in the pile is quite heavy and wide, which is then designed to form a textured pile.
Action Backed
The action or hessian backing of this carpet gives it an incredibly durable and hardwearing layer between the carpet pile and your floor. However, with action backed carpets, you do require an underlay purchase to add comfort as well as increase the thermal and acoustic features of the carpet.
