Kitchen Flooring

Kitchen flooring for the way you live

Your kitchen floor sets the tone for one of the busiest rooms in the house. Natural wood tones can soften painted cabinetry, while stone and tile effects create a crisp, contemporary backdrop. Whether your kitchen is a place to cook, gather or both, consider how the flooring will look across the whole space and alongside adjoining rooms.

What should you look for in a kitchen floor?

Everyday spills, dropped ingredients and regular cleaning make product suitability important. Explore LVT flooring and other suitable products on this page, then compare their water resistance, surface finish and fitting requirements. If you prefer the look of planks, check the specifications of the exact floor rather than assuming every wood effect has the same properties.

Bring the design together

Think about whether you want a light floor to brighten the room or a deeper shade to contrast with cabinets and worktops. Larger patterns can give an open-plan kitchen character, while a quieter finish lets other features lead. Order samples where available and view them at different times of day before making your choice.
