We recommend using our amazing Timberlay Platinum Underlay with this herringbone flooring. A perfect choice for providing an extremely hard-wearing yet comfortable underfoot feel, whilst helping reduce heat loss with the added benefit of enhanced sound reduction!

- Hi, we have bayside oak throughout the whole downstairs of our house and have recently bought a steam mop. Does the laminate need sealing or treating with anything before using a steam mop? The mop guidelines say it can be used on laminate flooring on the low and medium setting. Many thanks.
- Hello, thank you for getting in touch. We do not recommend using a steam mop with any Laminate flooring, even if the instructions say it is suitable. The high temperatures and water content can damage the flooring over time. Instead, we recommend a flat headed mop with a minimal amount of water. - Hi, we had this flooring fitted with the 4mm timberlay underlay - as recommended at the time (9 months ago) and have had noise issues. Please can any buyers/fitters confirm that having the silver underlay fitted will resolve this issue. Thanks
- Hello, thank you for getting in touch! Could you please confirm if this was the Timberlay Gold Underlay? If so, the Timberlay Gold reduces sound up to 24dB, whereas the Timberlay Silver Underlay only reduces sound up to 22dB. We do, however, only recommend a 3mm Underlay to be used in conjunction with the Herringbone Laminate flooring. - Hello, we re thinking to use Herringbone bayside oak in bedroom. Out fitter suggested this underlay that is called Arbiton easy fit (thickness is 2.2 mm) can you please confirm if that works ? Or would you suggest something else. Thank you so much

- Can I use 4mm underlay TIMBERLAY GOLD with this flooring? The description suggests to use 1-3mm underlay however I see that this is recommended in the Q A section.
