Q&A

Can this be fitted over underfloor heating?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch. Solid Wood flooring is not suitable for us with Underfloor Heating. The fluctuations in temperatures is too extreme and will cause damage over time. However, we do recommend Engineered wood, Laminate flooring and LVTs, providing the correct adhesive or underlay is used. Can this be laid on tiles?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! We would recommend lifting any existing flooring where possible prior to laying new flooring. As this is a solid wood floor, it cannot be laid as a floating floor, it must be glued to the sub-floor below using the following adhesive: https://www.directwoodflooring.co.uk/impero-wood-flooring-adhesive.html. Please can you link me to the right sized router bit set that I would need to add new tongues/grooves to this product when cutting it down?: Hello, thank you for getting in touch! I'm afraid a Solid Wood Flooring can only be glued or nailed directly to the sub-floor. This flooring has a Super Tongue and Groove Installation method, so no additional Tongue and Grooves would need to be added. However, if this is something that is needed to complete your installation, I would recommend taking a piece to your local DIY store who should be able to advise. I hope this helps!
